Elizabeth + Nathan – Cayucos Creek Barn

It has been just over a year since the last time I photographed a wedding out at the Cayucos Creek Barn and I just love this place. Well I seem to be a sucker for old barns in general but this barn is just so sweet. The couple brought in so many little details to really personalize the space but they didn’t take away from the charm and character that the barn has. It was perfect. I had a blast photographing this wedding… everyone was so friendly and just generally excited to see two amazing people declare their love for one another.

Jen+Mike – Santa Barbara wedding

Jen + Mike had an amazing wedding day filled with so much love + support from family + friends. But this wedding was not only bringing together two people who love each other oh so much but it was also bringing together a new family. Jen has two wonderfully sweet little girls and they were so excited to have Mike as their new step dad. The wedding + reception were both held at the Private residence of Mike’s aunt + uncle. It was so extremely generous of them to offer up their home for the day. The location was absolutely gorgeous with views of the ocean from all areas of the grounds. Jen (who I think should now be known as the Martha Stewart of the central coast) did such a wonderful job with the details of the day. She put everything together from baking cookies for the favors to creating all of the favor boxes, table chart and even the little reserved cards that hung on chairs for the wedding. It was all perfect. I was so thankful to be the one capturing it all for them.

Keri + Jason – La Mirada Museum, Monterey

A few weeks ago I headed to Monterey for to capture the wedding of these two awesome people. The wedding was gorgeous and if I didn’t already know that Keri had planned the whole thing in just a few months you wouldn’t have been able to tell. Keri is a teacher so it only made sense to hold the wedding during the summer when she actually had some time off to plan and enjoy the process. The ceremony + reception were both held at the La Mirada Museum in Monterey which was stunning. I just love unique venues + themes so this was so up my alley! So a little backstory on the two love birds… they actually met while on a plane headed to So. Cal and thanks to an open seating policy ended up spending the flight chit chatting and it seems the rest is history. They both even gave a shout out to southwest during their vows, so cute. These two are such great people and it was such a joy to spend the day with them capturing their love.

Untitled-2Untitled-6I absolutely LOVE when couples see each other before the wedding… Here is Jason seeing his STUNNING bride for the first time. He couldn’t keep his eyes off of her!
