san ysidro ranch wedding

OK, I know. I start off every post about how awesome my couples are and about how amazing their weddings were. But honestly, I don’t know how I end up working for the most fabulous people… but somehow I do. Alicia and Matt are no exception. I knew Alicia was going to be a blast when we first chit chatted on the phone to talk about their wedding. It was a great conversation and I hung up smiling and just hoping I would get booked. Then I finally got to meet them both in person for their engagement session. Again, I had a GREAT time and left that session so excited for the big day. So the day finally comes and you know what? It was everything I thought it would be and so much more. The day started off at the Fess Parker Double Tree where the bride and groom both got ready. Leah Herzberg with Luna Bella Make-up art did a fantastic job making Alicia look gorgeous. Matt + Alicia opted to do a “first look” before they rode together over to the Santa Barbara courthouse. Alicia was escorted down the aisle by her grandpa. I love the little snuggle she gives him right before he gives her hand over to Matt. They said they said their “I do’s” before 34 family + friends. The happy couple and all of their guests then moved over to the amazingly gorgeous San Ysidro Ranch for the reception. The San Ysidro Ranch wedding venue is a magical luxury hotel nestled in the hills of Montecito featuring private cottages & suites along tree lined paths of lavender. It was an all around perfect day with so many wonderful people surrounding them with lots of love. A special thank you to Amazing Day Events for coordinating everything beautifully. Now onto some pictures!
