olallieberry inn wedding

The Olallieberry Inn is this sweet bed and breakfast in Cambria that sits along the Santa Rosa Creek. It is picturesque and lush and oh so charming. But it is even more than that to Janine+David. Janine’s parents would visit Cambria every year and eventually started staying at the Inn. It became their place to stay. When it became time to hunt down a wedding venue they eventually decided on Cambria as their town of choice they just had to pick the place. They stayed at the Inn not realizing that the Olallieberry Inn is a Cambria wedding venue. During a morning discussion with the owners the suggestion was eventually made to have their wedding at the Inn, the same place that meant so much to her parents for so many years. With her father passed it seemed like there would be even more importance to the location. It was the perfect choice for them. Fast forward a year later at the reception. Shortly after their intimate dinner with family had begun they were given a gift, it was to come back to the Inn for their anniversary so that they can start their own tradition of visiting the Inn just like her parents. I was holding back tears. I know I don’t do the story justice… it was just so touching and thoughtful. The whole day seemed very fitting for them. It was personal and fun and they were surrounded by the people who truly meant so much to them.
